It is with a heavy heart that I share with friends, colleagues, and clients the passing of Nancy Palmer last night due to the evil disease of cancer. Nancy was at home, surrounded by her father, sister, and both brothers. She died in her sleep, circled with love, her life cut way too short.
For all of us who knew Nancy, we marveled at her quiet strength, eternal optimism, and her constant concern for the happiness and well being of others. She adored her family, her girlfriends, traveling, and just about all things horses. She considered her horses her children and lavished time, attention, and love on them, as she did with everything else that mattered in her life.
Nancy was the definition of class. Always smiling and caring. A terrific friend as she had long ago mastered the art of listening and truly being interested in those around her. She was cultured, beautiful inside and out, and always kind. Amazingly kind.
Nancy Palmer was one of my first friends and connections when I became a licensed Realtor, back in the early 2000’s. Nancy and my former partner, Stuart Tilt, were dear friends, enjoying lunches alone, or with Nancy’s sweet father. In 2013, as I repositioned my business after Stuart left Bozeman, Nancy joined the Platinum Team. For a year we worked as a Team at PureWest Christie’s, then Nancy went on to partner with Lynn Swain. We’ve all remained friends, business associates, and colleagues. We liked each other tremendously, and respected each other as well.
